The campaign to retain Thom Garrard on the Edmonds School Board was launched last night in Lynnwood! Festive decorations, outstanding live music, inspiring speeches, free books, and refreshments made for a great party. Many thanks to all who attended, and especially to party organizers Naomi and Constance; set up crew Ian, Nancy, Holly, and Manny; and speakers Rep. Strom Peterson, Sen. Marko Liias, Dr. Courtney Wooten, and Board Director Carin Chase, for making this a special night.
Love the photos, and the music was great! Thanks for standing up for good schools for all, for taking seriously the threat to honesty and equality in education, and for having the courage to engage in public service.
